I have found in this life, there is one thing that is common to us all. That is the uncertainty of life. Seemingly there are new challenges to face, in addition to the concerns of yesterday. The rolling landscape of life stretches out in an endless maze of ups and downs, of celebrations of the good times and successes of accomplishment. These are the times that the road of life is straight. I can see the fruition of my efforts, thoughts and plans. Life is good! Then just as quickly, life serves up the unexpected. I find that the “I’ve got this” of yesterday, fades, in the light of today’s uncertainty and fear of the unknown has arrived. Finding myself overwhelmed and unprepared for the reality of today! So how can I find help and hope in this tumult of Life that is filled with the emotions of Hope, love, success, overshadowed by failures, fear and loss. Seemingly there is no way to make sense of it all. But I have found that in and through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ there is a higher authority in life that reaffirms me and strengthens me, holding my today, but also my unknown tomorrow. Hebrews 10:23 encourages us to hold on…23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. God is always faithful in that His love for you and I, “NEVER” waivers. When I have come to the precipice of the cliff of failure and discouragement, I find myself having a “BUT GOD” moment. His power and authority overwhelms me with His peace and His comfort. He is always on time and His provision is sufficient to meet my needs. Finding this to be true time and time again, I press forward on this highway of life, knowing that God is always faithful. 1 Corinthians 1:9 reiterates this faithfulness… 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. So be encouraged today, in preparation for your tomorrows, Christ Jesus has provided, victory for us and all that will come and receive Him as their Lord and Savior. There is a saying that “Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder” I project to you that it is the His eye, you are the “Beauty” of His eye. Proverbs 3:5-6 Amplified Bible 5 Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 [ a]In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
