It is a THANKFUL kind of season. People are happier and more thankful when they give. Giving draws our heart toward God. Here’s the proof -- “And [God] who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness and charity]. Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous and [your generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth THANKSGIVING to God. “ 2 Cor. 9:10-11 AMPC. If you notice in the scripture that He will increase what we are able to give in the way of “goodness, kindness, and charity” as we give out. Time with others not able to get out; having a listening ear; being nice to the cashiers and store personnel navigating all the folks shopping; being kind to those you meet even the grouchy folks (not repaying by also being grouchy). He is the Master Planner and set his Kingdom up on the premise of giving because of love. He knew our need and gave. He is the ultimate Giver and we have the opportunity to show others about Him by giving of our ourselves and resources out of love for Him.
